The Series 5 advanced digital force gauges are engineered for tension and compression force testing across a wide range of industries, offering capacities from 0.12 lb to 1,000 lb (0.5 N to 5,000 N). These gauges boast an impressive sampling rate of 7,000 Hz, ensuring accurate results even in quick-action tests, with an accuracy of 0.1% of full scale plus one digit and a resolution of 1/5000. The large backlit graphics LCD provides clear visibility, coupled with a simple menu for easy navigation through numerous features and configurable parameters. Data transfer capabilities include USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo (Digimatic), or analog outputs, along with on-board memory that accommodates up to 1,000 readings, incorporating statistical calculations. Integrated set points with indicators facilitate pass-fail testing and can trigger external devices such as alarms or relays. These gauges are designed for overload protection up to 150% of capacity and feature an analog load bar for graphical force representation. The Series 5 includes averaging mode for recording average force over time and external trigger mode for straightforward switch activation testing. Its ergonomic, reversible aluminum design permits hand-held usage or mounting on test stands, and it is compatible with Mark-10 test stands, grips, and software.
