It is designed to bore clean, fast holes in wood, plastic, plywood, and Formica. The bit provides a drilling depth of 6 inches and can be used in conjunction with a 12-inch extension (48-28-3350) for extended deep-hole drilling. It features double wing spurs that reduce vibration during operation, facilitating easier hole formation. The patented cutting edge allows for easier and faster wood boring compared to conventional models, while effectively removing chips quickly.
