The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched at 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. The open shelf design provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and the assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips as snap-in components simplify set-up. The laminate decking is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, featuring a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white melamine surface and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the frame. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway.
