The BSC Preferred™ self-dumping steel forklift hopper is designed for safety and efficiency, featuring a perfectly balanced construction that allows it to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position for reloading. Its continuous welding prevents leakage of wet materials, with leak-proof hoppers available upon request. The hopper has a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for added safety and strength, while extended sides minimize the scattering of materials. It includes a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism and a safety chain that wraps around the forklift mast to ensure the hopper remains secure on the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available upon ordering include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for high dumping, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, a 3-way entry base for forklift access, and custom colors with a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. It is important to note that OSHA requires written approval from the manufacturer of the forklift for the use of any fork truck attachments.
