The BSC Preferred™ 2 cu. yd. self-dumping steel hopper features a 6000 lb. capacity and is engineered for safety and economy. This innovative design includes bump release functionality, allowing the hopper to automatically dump upon contact with a roll-off container. The hoppers are perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, ensuring complete dumping before returning to an upright, locked position for reloading. Continuous welding is employed to prevent leaking of wet materials, with leak-proof options available upon request. The hopper is designed with a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for added safety and strength, while extended sides help prevent scattering of materials. An integrated stacking feature permits the stacking of empty hoppers, and the strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism enhances usability. A safety chain is included to secure the hopper to the forklift mast, ensuring safe operation. Custom colors can be supplied with a Sherwin-Williams paint code. It is important to note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
