The SunStar SG Series natural gas infrared heater is designed for spot heating large areas, featuring a dimpled tile assembly that enhances radiant efficiency. Constructed with corrosion-resistant aluminized steel and aluminum reflectors, it maximizes radiant output. The heater incorporates an energy-efficient direct spark ignition system along with a gas shut-off safety control. It allows for angled mounting up to 30 degrees and requires a 120V supply. The unit is CSA certified and comes with a 1-year limited warranty. Installation and service must be performed by a licensed contractor in compliance with local codes; in the absence of local codes, it must adhere to the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.1 (also known as NFPA 54) or CGA B149 installation codes. Additionally, a ventilation requirement of 4 CFM per 1000 BTU/hr is necessary for the total installed capacity. It is important to note that this heater is not certified or approved for residential use.
