The system includes an energy-efficient direct spark ignition system and a gas shut-off safety control. It allows for angled mounting up to 30° and requires a 120V supply. The product is CSA certified and comes with a limited warranty of 1 year. Note that installation and service must be performed by a licensed contractor and must conform to local codes. In the absence of local codes, installation must comply with the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.I (also known as NFPA 54) or CGA B149 installation codes. It requires 4 CFM per 1000 BTU/HR of mechanical ventilation of the total installed capacity.
