The millivolt standing pilot heaters operate without electrical power and include a 100% gas shut-off safety control. The system allows for both horizontal and angle mounting and comes with a protective radiant screen. It is CSA certified and has a limited warranty of 1 year. Installation and service must be performed by a licensed contractor, adhering to local codes; in the absence of local codes, it must comply with the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.1 (also known as NFPA 54) or CGA B149 installation codes. Additionally, it requires 4 CFM per 1000 BTU/hr of mechanical ventilation relative to the total installed capacity.
