Modine steam and hot water horizontal unit heaters are designed for general commercial and industrial applications, specifically the Modine 18000 BTU steam and hot water unit heater. These heaters are optimal for heating large open areas with low ceilings and are effective in countering heat loss along outside building walls, particularly where windows are present. The heaters feature top/bottom inlet/outlet piping for quick and easy installation at a low cost and are built to withstand rigorous handling and on-the-job abuse. Constructed with corrosion-resistant steel housing, they are finished with a baked-on powder coat for durability. The unit is equipped with a totally enclosed 1/60 HP motor with thermal overload protection, ensuring longevity. Adjustable horizontal louvers allow for directed air flow, while the Venturi fan-shroud minimizes noise. A built-in safety guard protects from exposed fans, and the electrical junction box facilitates easy electrical connections. Installation must be performed by a licensed contractor. The unit is ETL listed and made in the U.S.A., with a 1 year limited warranty.
