Modine steam and hot water horizontal unit heaters are designed for general commercial and industrial applications, with the Modine 121,000 BTU steam and hot water unit heater specifically suited for heating large open areas and buildings with low ceilings. These heaters counteract heat loss along outside walls, particularly where windows are present, utilizing top/bottom inlet/outlet piping for quick and cost-effective installation. Constructed to withstand rigorous handling, the steel housing is treated for corrosion resistance and finished with a baked-on powder coat. Features include a totally enclosed 1/5 HP motor with thermal overload protection for enhanced durability, adjustable horizontal louvers for directing airflow, a venturi fan-shroud for noise reduction, and a built-in safety guard to protect from an exposed fan. The electrical junction box allows for easy electrical connections, and installation must be performed by a licensed contractor. The unit is ETL listed, made in the U.S.A., and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
