Modine steam & hot water horizontal unit heaters, specifically the Modine 24000 BTU model, are designed for general commercial and industrial applications, making them ideal for heating large open areas with low ceilings. These horizontal unit heaters effectively counteract heat loss along outside building walls, particularly in spaces with windows. The unit features top/bottom inlet/outlet piping for quick and cost-effective installation and is built to withstand rigorous handling. It has a steel housing treated for corrosion resistance and finished with a baked-on, powder coat finish. The unit is equipped with a totally enclosed 1/25 HP motor featuring thermal overload protection for enhanced longevity. Adjustable horizontal louvers allow for directed airflow, while a venturi fan-shroud minimizes noise. A built-in safety guard protects against exposed fan hazards, and the electrical junction box facilitates easy electrical connections. Installation must be performed by a licensed contractor, and the unit is ETL listed. The product is made in the U.S.A. and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
