The Modine 193000 BTU steam or hot water unit heater is designed for applications requiring explosion-proof motors, operating on 230 volts and 3-phase power. This horizontal hydronic unit heater features horizontal airflow, top and bottom steel female pipe connections that allow for 360° rotation without piping alterations, copper tubes, and aluminum fins. It includes adjustable louvers, a balanced fan, a fan guard, and a motor with an electrical junction box. The unit is constructed with a 2-piece casing for easy access to the coil and is equipped with tapped holes for suspension using a threaded rod or an optional pipe hanger adapter kit. The serpentine copper tube coil design boasts high resistance to thermal shock, especially under high steam pressures, while the absence of coil headers helps eliminate potential leaks and enhances the coil face area without increasing unit size. The coil design promotes greater water carrying capacity with lower friction loss. This unit is CSA certified and proudly made in the U.S.A., accompanied by a 1-year limited warranty.
