Modine steam and hot water horizontal unit heaters are designed for general commercial and industrial applications, featuring a 86000 BTU capacity. These heaters are particularly effective for heating large open areas with low ceilings and help mitigate heat loss along exterior walls, especially in areas with windows. The unit includes top/bottom inlet/outlet piping for quick and cost-effective installation. Constructed with a durable steel housing that has been treated for corrosion resistance and finished with a baked-on powder coat, the heater is built to endure rigorous handling and job site abuse. The system is powered by a totally-enclosed 1/8 HP motor with thermal overload protection to ensure longevity. Adjustable horizontal louvers allow for precise air flow direction, while the Venturi fan-shroud minimizes noise levels. A built-in safety guard protects users from the exposed fan, and an electrical junction box facilitates easy electrical connections. Installation must be performed by a licensed contractor. The unit is ETL listed and CSA listed, made in the U.S.A., and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
