Modine steam & hot water horizontal unit heaters, specifically the Modine 165,000 BTU model, are designed for general commercial and industrial applications, making them ideal for heating large open areas and spaces with low ceilings. These heaters effectively counter heat loss along outside building walls, especially in areas with windows, utilizing top/bottom inlet/outlet piping for quick and cost-effective installation. Constructed to withstand rigorous handling, the steel housing features corrosion resistance and is finished with a durable baked-on powder coat. The unit is equipped with a totally-enclosed 1/3 HP motor that includes thermal overload protection for enhanced longevity, while adjustable horizontal louvers facilitate directed air flow. To minimize noise, the venturi fan-shroud is incorporated, along with a built-in safety guard to protect from an exposed fan. An electrical junction box is provided for easy electrical connections. The installation must be performed by a licensed contractor. The unit is ETL listed, made in the U.S.A., and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
