Modine steam and hot water horizontal unit heaters, specifically the Modine 258,000 BTU steam and hot water unit heater, are designed for general commercial and industrial applications. The units feature top/bottom inlet/outlet piping for quick and cost-effective installation. The unit includes a totally enclosed 1/2 HP motor with thermal overload protection for enhanced longevity, adjustable horizontal louvers for directing airflow, and a venturi fan-shroud to minimize noise. Safety is ensured through a built-in safety guard that protects users from an exposed fan, and an electrical junction box facilitates easy electrical connections. Installation must be performed by a licensed contractor. The unit is ETL listed and proudly made in the U.S.A., and it comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
