Modine steam and hot water horizontal unit heaters, specifically the Modine 340,000 BTU model, are designed for general commercial and industrial applications, making them ideal for heating large open areas with low ceilings and countering heat loss along outside walls, especially where windows are present. These unit heaters feature top/bottom inlet/outlet piping for quick and cost-effective installation. The robust steel housing is treated for corrosion resistance and finished with a baked-on powder coat. The unit comes equipped with a totally-enclosed 1/2 HP motor with thermal overload protection for extended longevity. Adjustable horizontal louvers allow for precise air flow direction, while the venturi fan-shroud minimizes operational noise. A built-in safety guard protects against exposed fan blades, and an electrical junction box enables straightforward electrical connections. Note that installation must be performed by a licensed contractor. The unit is ETL listed and made in the U.S.A., and it carries a one-year limited warranty.
