BriskHeat® full coverage drum heaters are constructed with a silicone-cloth facing and liner, paired with 1" fiberglass insulation for enhanced efficiency and durability. These heaters are designed to fit 55-gallon drums with a diameter of 22-1/3". They are ideal for applications such as viscosity control, freeze protection, melting of solids, and thermal mixing. The design features larger coverage areas and high wattages complemented by full insulation to ensure optimal heat efficiency. Installation around drums is made easy with hook and loop fasteners. The unit comes with a digital temperature controller that includes an audible/visual alarm for user convenience. It boasts a dielectric strength of over 2,000 volts and includes a 6' power cord. The grounded heating element complies with NEC 427.23 standards and CE 73/23/EEC certification. Plastic drum heaters provide temperature control ranging from 50-160° F, while steel drum heaters offer a range of 50-450° F.
