The Low Profile Pickup Truck Tailgate Salt Spreader, model TGS07, has an 11 cu. ft. capacity and is constructed from rotationally molded double-wall polyethylene, eliminating the need for a welded steel framework and ensuring years of reliable service. Its low-profile design allows for an unobstructed rear view and is lightweight for higher load capacity. The unit features a heavy-duty 12V spreader motor housed in a sealed motor chamber within the hopper for added weather protection. The salt spreader includes a concealed 80 lb. vibrator, a 12" polymer spinner, a dual shaft gear motor, and a horizontal auger feed mechanism. Users can adjust the material flow and spread width from 3' to 25' via an in-cab electronic variable speed control panel. The molded-in hopper is designed with a pivoting front and rear hinged lid for easy filling. It comes with a Class IV receiver hitch mount that allows for both horizontal and vertical adjustments without the need for bed rail drilling, and includes a power cable, wiring harness, and necessary hardware for easy assembly. This non-returnable salt spreader is designed to accommodate various materials, typically limited to V-box spreaders.
