The salt spreader is designed to mount directly to your pick-up truck bumper or hitch receiver, featuring a construction of rotationally molded double-wall polyethylene that eliminates the need for welded steel framework, ensuring long-lasting service. Its low-profile design allows for an unobstructed rear view while remaining lightweight for enhanced load capacity. Equipped with a heavy-duty 12V spreader motor housed in a sealed motor chamber inside the hopper for added weather protection, the spreader features an easy-to-use adjustable flow-gate design. The material flow and spread width can be adjusted from 3' to 30' using an in-cab electronic variable speed control panel. The salt spreader includes a concealed 80 lb. vibrator, molded-in hopper handles, and a hinged lid with a self-latching handle. It can be attached directly to the pick-up truck bumper using the included universal stake pocket attachment or via a 2" hitch receiver mount, compatible with existing Class III or IV hitches. The package includes a power cable, wiring harness, and hardware for easy assembly. The salt spreader is non-returnable and comes with a 1-year limited warranty. It accommodates the use of #1 rock salt or similar materials.
