The Saltdogg PRO2000CH electric hopper spreader with conveyor chain is designed to offer the functionality of a municipal-style spreader while maintaining a compact size, suitable for use in the bed of a dual rear wheel pickup truck or flatbed with a minimum gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 10,000 lbs. This 2 cubic yard spreader effectively handles bulk salt, sand, or a 50/50 salt/sand mix. Constructed with a patented double-wall poly hopper that resists rust and dents, it features a 12 in. wide all-steel pintle chain conveyor equipped with a stainless steel trough. The conveyor is powered by an independent 3/4 HP, 12V gear motor, and a 200 lb vibrator works alongside the stainless steel inverted V to ensure consistent material flow. The 14 in. polymer spinner can cast material within a radius of 5-30 ft, driven by its own dedicated 1/2 HP, 12V motor. The adjustable swing-away chute allows for easy adaptation to various materials and bulk unloading. Operators can easily manage conveyor and spinner speeds, along with the vibrator's operation, using intuitive in-cab controls. The spreader also includes a top screen, tie downs, and a fitted tarp, making it suitable for use in parking lots, property maintenance, and small businesses. The product comes with a 2-year limited warranty and is not recommended for highway use. Additional features include forklift slots for ease of loading and it is made in the USA.
