Shurtape® HP 400 carton sealing tape measures 3" x 55 yds and features a thickness of 2.5 mil, making it a clear high-performance grade hot melt packaging tape designed for higher speed, critical closure carton sealing of large, bulky, or heavy content cartons. It is suitable for both manual and automated industrial sealing environments, particularly in moderate to severe handling situations. HP 400® offers extra high bonding strength and holding power for a consistent and secure carton closure. The tape provides an instant, permanent bond to a wide variety of substrates and surfaces, while its special release coating ensures consistent, low force unwind off the roll, allowing for efficient tape consumption. This product complies with applicable standards including ASTM D 1974-98 (2003), ASTM D 5486M-12, Type III, CID A-A-1684C, and FDA indirect contact regulations CFR 21, 175.105, and CFR 21, 177.1520, although the white variant is not compliant with FDA indirect contact standards.
