Premium performance grade adhesive transfer tape TG 356 is designed for mounting, holding, joining, and splicing various substrates such as paper, cardboard, textiles, plastics, leather, wood, glass, and painted surfaces. This tape is reverse wound on a 1-inch I.D. core, allowing for quick and easy application with an adhesive transfer gun to create self-adhesive surfaces. It meets several applicable standards, including ASTM D 1974/D 1974M-16, ASTM D 5486M-12 (Type I, Class 2), ASTM D 5486M-12 (Type II, Class 2), CID A-A-1684C, and FDA indirect contact regulations CFR 21, 175.105 and CFR 21, 177.1630. Key features of this tape include the elimination of clean-up and drying time typically associated with liquid adhesives, maintenance of adhesion characteristics in both normal and severe environmental conditions, and exceptional conformability. The tape also exhibits resistance to humidity, most solvents, and UV light. The backing is made of 50 micron polyester film, and the adhesive is a synthetic rubber/resin hot melt adhesive.
