High performance grade hot melt packaging tape designed for higher speed, critical closure carton sealing of large, bulky, or heavy content cartons is suitable for use in both manual and automated industrial sealing environments, especially in moderate to severe handling conditions. The HP 400® provides extra high bonding strength and holding power for a consistent, secure carton closure. Key features include an instant, permanent bond to a wide range of substrates and surfaces, a special release coating that ensures consistent, low force unwind off the roll, and reliable performance to the core for efficient tape consumption. This tape complies with several applicable standards including ASTM D 1974-98 (2003), ASTM D 5486M-12, Type III, CID A-A-1684C, and FDA indirect contact CFR 21, 175.105; FDA indirect contact CFR 21, 177.1520 (note that white tape is not compliant with FDA indirect contact standards).
