The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking features horizontal beams roll-formed to a Z-profile for enhanced shelf capacity, with wood decking that sits flush to the beams for a neater appearance and increased stability. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. The shelving is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial use, offering versatile heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area. The open shelf design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and shelves are adjustable in 1" increments. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, with snap-in components enabling quick setup and easy expansion by joining units with greater stability without bolting starter units together. The structural integrity is ensured by sturdy roll-formed 14 gauge steel framing with front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal Z beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and wire decking is included for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration; the wire decking ships in two pieces and allows sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
