The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter kit with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features a maximum storage weight capacity of 1400 lbs. per level and includes sturdy 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The kit includes durable, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, which ships in two pieces, with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components.
