The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking shipped in two pieces. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The unit has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish.
