The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, heavy duty channel boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with 96"W double rivet channel beams providing extra support. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The package features sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelving has an open design with four-side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, using snap-in components. The surfaces have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the decking consists of sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard that ships in two pieces for cost-effective solid decking.
