The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter, with no decking included, is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. Each starter unit supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and features durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support while front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. The assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the shelving is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. Decking must be ordered separately.
