The SC Preferred™ 3 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial facilities. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and features durable, adaptable open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts forming structurally secure joints to eliminate back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the shelving features sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which is cost-effective and ships in two pieces.
