The maple butcher-block bench top is kiln dried, electronically glued, then cured and sanded smooth, finished with a penetrating mineral oil protectant that is NSF-approved. It is designed as an all-purpose bench top and requires oiling on all surfaces every 1-2 weeks depending on use or conditions to maintain its condition. The bench top can be cleaned using mild household cleaners such as soap and water solutions, Windex, and Lysol; however, aggressive chemicals like ammonia and solvents should be avoided as they may cause permanent damage to the finish. All dimensions are typical with a general tolerance of +/- 1/8"; width, depth, and/or thickness may vary slightly, and if purchasing multiples, exact matches in wood grain or color shade cannot be guaranteed. The NSF logo can be applied to the underside of the countertop upon request.
