The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility, while the open design allows four side access. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically also on 1" increments. The wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks, enhancing fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. It has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish.
