The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, offering durable and adaptable storage with adjustable open shelves at 1" increments. The easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, featuring snap-in components and sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage to improve fire safety. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces.
