The SC Preferred™ mobile security locking computer cabinet in black is a secure steel enclosure designed to prevent data theft and vandalism by limiting access to computer components including monitors up to 21" diagonal LCD or CRT, housed in an upper compartment featuring a break-resistant acrylic window and a fully retractable locking door. It includes a slide-out locking keyboard drawer measuring 19-1/2"W x 17-3/4"D x 4-1/4"H and an adjustable height lower compartment shelf, both extending fully on ball bearing slides. The lower compartment offers locking front and rear access doors, and both top and bottom compartments are louvered for heat reduction with cable management ports. The cabinet is mounted on heavy duty 5" swivel casters, two of which lock, and all doors use keyed alike locks. The upper frame consists of 24-gauge panels and a 19-gauge sliding keyboard/mouse tray, while the lower frame is constructed from 23-gauge door, door frame, side and bottom panels with 20-gauge drawer thickness. The overall dimensions are 24-1/2"W x 22-1/2"D x 60-3/8"H, with an upper compartment interior measuring 24-1/4"W x 21-3/4"D x 21"H, and a lower compartment interior of 20-3/4"W x 21"D x 23-1/4"H. The monitor window opening is 14-3/4"W x 15-3/4"H. The cabinet supports a total weight capacity of 175 lbs. overall and 40 lbs. on the keyboard tray. Optional accessories sold separately include a side shelf kit (set of 2), an AC fan kit with a 5'L power cord (one recommended for each upper, lower, and CPU side cabinet), a sliding mouse tray, and a CPU side cabinet; however, the side shelf and CPU side cabinet cannot be installed on the same side of the computer cabinet. The cabinet features a durable powder-coated finish and is easy to assemble.
