The SC Preferred™ mobile security locking computer cabinet in blue is a secure steel cabinet designed to prevent data theft and vandalism by restricting access to the computer, monitor, and keyboard. The upper compartment features a break-resistant acrylic window and a fully retractable locking door, accommodating up to 21" diagonal LCD or CRT monitors. It includes a slide-out locking keyboard drawer and an adjustable height lower compartment shelf that extend fully on ball bearing slides. The lower compartment has locking front and rear access doors. The cabinet is mounted on heavy-duty 5" swivel casters, two of which are locking. Both the top and bottom compartments are louvered for heat dissipation and include convenient cable management ports. All doors use keyed-alike locks. An optional fan kit with a 5' power cord is available to reduce heat buildup; one fan kit is recommended for each upper, lower, and CPU side cabinet. The upper frame is constructed from 24-gauge panels and a 19-gauge sliding keyboard/mouse tray, while the lower frame is made from 23-gauge doors, door frames, sides, and bottom panels with 20-gauge drawer thickness, all finished with a durable powder coating. Assembly is straightforward. Dimensions for the upper compartment interior are 24-1/4"W x 21-3/4"D x 21"H; the lower compartment interior measures 20-3/4"W x 21"D x 23-1/4"H; the locking slide-out keyboard drawer is 19-1/2"W x 17-3/4"D x 4-1/4"H; the monitor window opening is 14-3/4"W x 15-3/4"H; and the overall unit size is 24-1/2"W x 22-1/2"D x 60-3/8"H. The overall weight capacity is 175 lbs., with the keyboard tray supporting up to 40 lbs. Optional accessories sold separately include a side shelf kit (set of 2), AC fan kit, sliding mouse tray, and CPU side cabinet. Note that the side shelf and CPU side cabinet cannot be installed on the same side of the computer cabinet.
