The Steel Wheel Riser is designed to allow trucks and semi-trailers to be positioned properly above docks for more efficient loading, ensuring that tractor trailers remain level at loading docks, which eliminates safety hazards associated with uneven dock ramps. This loading dock wheel riser is crafted to comply with OSHA requirements for a maximum grade of 10% for ascending or descending loaded forklifts. It features an all-welded construction with a non-skid diamond treadplate surface for enhanced safety. The riser includes built-in fork pockets measuring 7"W x 2"H for easy portability with a forklift and adds 15" to the overall width of each riser. It has a durable brown enamel finish and is sold individually, with a capacity of 20,000 lbs. per riser (40,000 lbs. per pair). Note that dual wheels on semi-trailers are 18" wide, making the 24" wide wheel risers the most suitable for this application.
