The Steel Wheel Riser, designed as a wheel ramp, allows trucks and semi-trailers to be positioned efficiently above docks for effective loading. This loading dock wheel riser aids in keeping tractor trailers level at loading docks, which helps eliminate safety hazards associated with uneven dock ramps. The riser is built to comply with OSHA requirements for a maximum grade of 10% for loaded forklifts, featuring an all-welded steel construction with a non-skid diamond treadplate surface for added safety. It includes built-in fork pockets measuring 7" W x 2" H for easy portability with a forklift, and it adds 15" to the overall width of each riser. The durable brown enamel finish ensures longevity. Each riser has a capacity of 20,000 lbs. (40,000 lbs. per pair), and it is important to note that the 24" wide wheel risers are recommended for dual wheels on semi-trailers that are 18" wide.
