The Steel Wheel Riser, designed for trucks and semi-trailers, facilitates proper positioning above docks for efficient loading, ensuring that tractor trailers remain level during the loading process and eliminating safety hazards associated with uneven dock ramps. This loading dock wheel riser complies with OSHA requirements for a maximum grade of 10% for loaded forklifts. Constructed from all-welded steel, it features a non-skid diamond treadplate surface for enhanced safety. Built-in fork pockets measuring 7" W x 2" H allow for easy portability with a forklift and increase the overall width of each riser by 15". Each riser has a durable brown enamel finish and supports a capacity of 20,000 lbs. individually, or 40,000 lbs. per pair. For optimum performance, the 24" wide wheel risers are recommended, as dual wheels on semi-trailers typically measure 18" wide.
