The versatile hopper is designed for handling heavy, bulky scrap and is ideal for moving castings, wood and metal chips, recyclables, and sludge. This rugged, fully welded hopper is precisely balanced to tip forward for complete discharge of contents and automatically returns to the upright position when empty. It features a positive locking latch to help prevent accidental dumping, a watertight interior for wet or dry loads, and 2" formed top lips to increase rigidity and eliminate sharp edges. The unit includes extra-deep fork openings for easy forklift entry and a safety chain to secure the hopper to the forklift. Interlocking guides allow empty units up to 2 cubic yards to be stacked up to three high for space savings, though stacking is not recommended when loaded. The hopper has a durable enamel finish and ships assembled. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
