The versatile forklift hopper is designed for handling heavy, bulky scrap such as castings, wood and metal chips, recyclables, and sludge. This rugged, fully welded hopper is precisely balanced to tip forward for complete discharge of contents and automatically return to the upright position when empty. It features a positive locking latch to prevent accidental dumping and a watertight interior suitable for both wet and dry loads. The 2" formed top lips increase rigidity and eliminate sharp edges, while extra-deep fork openings allow easy forklift entry. The unit includes a safety chain to secure the hopper to the forklift and interlocking guides that enable empty units through the 2 cubic yard size to be stacked up to three high for space savings (do not stack when loaded). It has a durable enamel finish and ships fully assembled. OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
