The versatile hopper is designed for handling heavy, bulky scrap and is ideal for moving castings, wood and metal chips, recyclables, and sludge. This rugged, fully welded hopper is precisely balanced to tip forward for complete discharge of contents and automatically return to the upright position when empty. It features a positive locking latch to help prevent accidental dumping, a watertight interior suitable for wet or dry loads, and 2" formed top lips that increase rigidity while eliminating sharp edges. Extra-deep fork openings allow for easy forklift entry, and the unit includes a safety chain to ensure the hopper is secured to the forklift. Interlocking guides enable empty units up to 2 cubic yards to be stacked up to three high for space savings, though they should not be stacked when loaded. The hopper has a durable enamel finish and ships assembled. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval before using any fork truck attachments.
