The Jet JTM-1050 is designed with Meehanite castings and features a heavy-duty hardened and ground 10 x 50 table, supported by high precision class 7 precision bearings. It includes precision bored and honed milling heads for quality cuts, along with a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop, ensuring ease of use. Key features consist of chrome lead screws on the X and Y axis, Turcite B lining on these axes, and satin chrome finishes on dials. The quill is large diameter and chromed, while the spindle head is internally cooled. This milling machine is equipped with a no fuse breaker power connection, a heavy-duty motor drive, and a chrome plated motor shaft with bearing support at the end. It boasts a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a heavy-duty spindle brake, and locks on all movable surfaces, as well as hardened and ground square vertical knee ways and cross ways. Additionally, it includes adjustable gibs throughout, an internal coolant tank built into the base (coolant pump not included), a tolerance test sheet, a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools.
