The JET JTM-1050 is designed with Meehanite castings and features a heavy-duty hardened and ground 10 x 50 table, along with high precision class 7 precision bearings that support the spindle for optimal performance. It includes chrome lead screws on the X and Y axes, Turcite B for reduced friction, and a satin chrome finish on the dials. The precision bored and honed milling head, coupled with a large diameter chromed quill, ensures superior cutting quality, while the spindle head is internally cooled for durability. The machine is equipped with a no fuse breaker power connection and a heavy-duty motor drive, including a chrome plated motor shaft with bearing support. Furthermore, it boasts a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop, and a heavy-duty spindle brake. Additional features include locks on all movable surfaces, hardened and ground square vertical knee ways and cross ways, adjustable gibs throughout, and an internal coolant tank built into the base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included).
