The Jet JTM-1050 is designed with Meehanite castings and features a heavy-duty hardened and ground 10 x 50 table, supported by high precision Class 7 bearings for the spindle. It includes precision bored and honed milling heads, ensuring quality cuts, and a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop for ease of use. Notable attributes include chrome lead screws on the X and Y axes, Turcite B lining on the X and Y axes, and satin chrome finish on dials. The large diameter quill is chromed, while the spindle head is internally cooled. The machine is equipped with a no fuse breaker power connection, a heavy-duty motor drive, and a chrome plated motor shaft with bearing support at the end. Additional features consist of a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, heavy-duty spindle brake, locks on all movable surfaces, hardened and ground square vertical knee ways, adjustable gibs, and an internal coolant tank built into the base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included). A tolerance test sheet is included, along with a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, and a toolbox with tools. The Jet JTM-1050 is backed by a two-year warranty.
