The Jet JTM-1050 features Meehanite castings, a heavy-duty hardened and ground 10 x 50 table, and high precision Class 7 precision bearings that support the spindle. This milling machine is equipped with precision bored and honed milling heads for quality cuts, along with a three-stage power downfeed that includes an automatic stop for ease of use. Key features of the JTM-1050 include chrome lead screws on the X and Y axes, Turcite B coatings on the X and Y axes, satin chrome finish on dials, a large diameter chromed quill, and an internally cooled spindle head. The machine is powered by a heavy-duty motor drive and includes a no fuse breaker power connection, a chrome plated motor shaft with bearing support at the end, and a one-piece quill pinion and shaft.
