The JTM-1/2 vertical milling machines feature a three-stage power down feed with automatic stop for enhanced precision and performance. Constructed with rugged Meehanite castings, these machines boast a precision bored and honed milling head, a large chromed diameter quill, and high precision class 7 spindle bearings for superior stability and accuracy. The spindle head is internally cooled to prevent seizing, while satin chrome finished dials provide easy readability. Additional features include a heavy-duty spindle motor drive, a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a heavy-duty spindle brake, and precision hardened and ground ways. The precision ground table is complemented by adjustable gibs throughout, and an internal coolant tank built into the base allows for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included). Each unit comes with a tolerance test sheet, a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools. This equipment is backed by Jet's industry-leading two-year warranty.
