The JTM-1 and JTM-2 models feature a three-stage power down feed with auto stop, high precision class 7 spindle bearings, and the stability derived from Meehanite castings. The internally cooled spindle head prevents seizing, while Jet precision engineering provides exceptional results. The milling machine includes a precision bored and honed milling head, a large diameter chromed quill, satin chrome finished dials, and a heavy-duty spindle motor drive. Additional attributes comprise a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a heavy-duty spindle brake, precision hardened and ground ways, an adjustable gib throughout, and a precision ground table. The design integrates an internal coolant tank built into the base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included), and comes with a tolerance test sheet, a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a drawbar, and a toolbox with tools.
