The Jet JTM-1050 is constructed with Meehanite castings and features a heavy-duty hardened and ground table measuring 10 x 50 inches, along with high precision Class 7 bearings that support the spindle. It includes precision bored and honed milling heads for quality cuts and a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop, facilitating ease of use. Key attributes include chrome lead screws on the X and Y axis, Turcite B on these axes for smooth operation, satin chrome finish on dials, a large diameter chromed quill, and a spindle head that is internally cooled. The machine also features a no fuse breaker power connection, a heavy-duty motor drive, and a chrome plated motor shaft with bearing support at the end. Additional specifications consist of a one piece quill pinion and shaft, heavy-duty spindle brake, locks on all movable surfaces, and hardened and ground square vertical knee ways and cross ways with adjustable gibs throughout.
