The JET JTM-1050 features Meehanite castings, a heavy-duty hardened and ground 10 x 50 table, and high precision Class 7 precision bearings supporting the spindle. It includes precision bored and honed milling heads for quality cuts and a three-stage power downfeed with an automatic stop for ease of use. The kit is equipped with chrome lead screws on the X and Y axes, Turcite B on the X and Y axes, a satin chrome finish on dials, a large diameter chromed quill, and an internally cooled spindle head. Additional attributes include a no fuse breaker power connection, heavy-duty motor drive, chrome plated motor shaft with bearing support at the end, a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a heavy-duty spindle brake, and locks on all movable surfaces. The machine also comprises hardened and ground square vertical knee ways and cross ways, adjustable gibs throughout, and an internal coolant tank built into the base (coolant pump not included). Maintenance features include a tolerance test sheet, a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools. The JET JTM-1050 is backed by a two-year warranty.
