The JTM-1 and 2 models feature a three-stage power down feed with automatic stop, ensuring reliability and precision for various milling tasks. Constructed from Meehanite castings, these machines provide rugged stability and durability. They utilize high precision class 7 spindle bearings, and the internally cooled spindle head prevents seizing, promoting longevity and consistent performance. The milling head is precision bored and honed, while the large diameter quill is chromed for enhanced smoothness and durability. The machines also include satin chrome finished dials, a heavy-duty spindle motor drive, and a one-piece quill pinion and shaft. Additional features comprise a heavy-duty spindle brake, precision hardened and ground ways, and a precision ground table. The adjustable gibs throughout allow for easy maintenance and adjustments. An internal coolant tank is built into the base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included), and a tolerance test sheet is provided to ensure quality.
