Constructed using the Meehanite casting process, Jet variable speed milling machines provide consistent and reliable operation. The Jet JTM-4VS Series features a variable speed vertical milling machine with precision bored and honed milling heads that ensure quality cuts. It includes a large diameter chromed quill, high precision class 7 spindle bearings, and a chrome plated motor shaft with lower bearing support. The spindle head is internally cooled, and the machine is equipped with satin chrome finished dials, a heavy-duty spindle motor drive, and a one-piece quill pinion and shaft. It also features a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop, a heavy-duty spindle brake, and locks on all movable surfaces. The precision hardened and ground ways and table, along with adjustable gibs throughout, enhance its functionality. The internal coolant tank built into the casting base is designed for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included), and a tolerance test sheet is provided. Additional attributes include a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools. The Jet JTM-4VS Series is available in single or three-phase power configurations and is backed by a two-year full service and parts warranty.
